Press Release: Bii introduces new Account Managers, Jordan Collins-Powell and Claire World

Bii introduces new Account Managers, Jordan Collins-Powell and Claire World

London/Gatwick, January 24th 2018: Specialist aviation component support providers, Bii, are pleased to announce the appointment of two new Account Managers. Claire World and Jordan Collins-Powell recently joined the sales team to provide dedicated customer support for the regional aircraft sector and Boeing 737 operators.

Commencing her extensive aviation career in 1994, Claire World started as an apprentice in Business Management. Since then she has remained in the aviation sector focusing on aircraft sales, repair management, aircraft spares support/brokering and the conversion from civil aircraft to air tankers. World joins Bii from Aerospace Support Associates. During World’s aviation career she primarily focused on BAC 1-11, Bae146, RJ, Embraer, Boeing and Airbus. Her main responsibility at Bii will be for customers in the regional sector, with a focus on Bae 146 stock sales and support.

Jordan Collins-Powell begun his career in aviation in 2012 initially working for Avtrade as a Support Contracts Administrator, and then at GA Telesis as Airframe Sales Executive where he provided full PBH contract support for a cargo airline of 13 aircraft, managing all programme inventory, repairs and logistics. In his new role at Bii he will utilise his knowledge and experience of the Boeing 737NG aircraft and be responsible for key operational processes within the Customer Services Department.

Justin Blockley, Commercial Director of Bii highlights that the Company’s recent evolution into commercial aircraft spares is the catalyst for the expansion of the sales team with two more experienced people. “In the last year Bii has seen sales increase exponentially and we primarily attribute this growth to being big enough to cope and small enough to care. Other leading spare parts providers have focused their business models on power-by-the-hour and contractual work which means that Bii can excel in ad-hoc support. Our focus is on smaller airlines with a fleet size of between three to fifteen aircraft – these operators not only seek the flexibility that Bii can offer in commercial/financial terms, but also like dealing with a smaller, knowledgeable team.”
